It's a perfect picnic, nice food, good company, then suddenly the skies open and it's a washout. Unless you have a Stepwagon with a "Butterfly Seat", that is. This cleverly designed centre row seat folds down to become a coffee or picnic table for up to three sitting on the rear seat. If the van also has optional front seat swivel bases, then five can sit round the table to enjoy a picnic or a drink and chat.

My own van has these optional seats and also an optional "Built in Table" which makes a perfect little dining room.
